Port Macquarie is located midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the North Coast of NSW. It is only 260 km north of Newcastle, 420 km from Sydney and 510 km from Brisbane.
It’s at the heart of a beautiful region with a diverse landscape that includes sand dunes, coastal wetlands, flood plains and mountains.

Surfing is a popular past time in Port Macquarie with its great suring beaches, but surfers are not the only sights you will see off the beaches. Dolphins and migrating whales are also spotted off Port Macquarie's coastline as well as plenty of bird life.
