Occupancy
 

  • Maximum 3 adults per 1 bedroom apartment (2 included in rate)

  • Maximum 5 adults per 2 bedroom apartment (4 included in rate)

  • Maximum 5 adults per 2 bedroom '+ extra bed' apartment (5 included in rate)

  • Maximum 7 adults per 3 bedroom apartment (6 included in rate)

  • Extra person tariff (excluding mattress) available at $20 per night extra

Please note, this rate/occupancy is for bookings made direct with Beachside Holiday Apartments, not through online agents.

Reservations of Apartments
 

  • All apartment linens are included in the tariff. It is advised that guests bring their own beach towels if you wish to swim, however, reception has a limited supply available for hire at $5 per stay per towel.

  • Tariffs subject to change without notice.

  • Whilst we will endeavor to provide you with your requested / booked apartment, there are no guarantees.

  • Check in time from 2.00pm - 4.00pm. 

    • Afterhours check-in is available, however, you are required to contact reception and provide a $300 security bond prior to 4.00pm.​

  • Check out time is before 10.00am.​

    • Late check out is $20 per hour or part thereof. Any late check outs must be arranged with reception staff prior to your day of departure. Availability of late check outs cannot be guaranteed.​

  • A $300 damage bond is required on the day of arrival. Failure to pay damage bond upon your arrival will result in the cancellation of your reservation with no refunds.

  • Minimum Check-in age is 19yrs, photo ID required. Otherwise, follow Schoolies conditions.

  • Deposits required at time of booking:

    • 2 Days = 50%

    • 3+ Days = 30%

    • Special events = 50%

    • Special Deals/Offers = 100% (not cancellable, $40 reschedule fee within Deal limit)

  • Balance of monies for stay is payable on day of arrival and not subject to refund for shortened stay. Your provided credit card will automatically be processed on the morning of your arrival, unless you have already advised otherwise. For security purposes, we cannot accept cash payments. If you are booked in for arrival on Sunday, your balance will be processed on the Saturday. Please ensure funds are available for a smooth transaction.

Local Special events (ie: Ironman, 1/2 Ironman, State Touch Cup etc) –

  • 10% Discount if paid in full (paid direct to Beachside) at time of booking, when over 6 months from event date.

  • $50 Booking Fee at time of booking, if 50% deposit is not paid at time of Booking. This is non-refundable.

  • The 50% Deposit is payable 6 months prior to event, if paid at time of Booking, the Booking fee is waived. 

  • The remaining 50% balance will be charged to nominated Credit Card on the day of Arrival. (This is to streamline the checkin process).
     

Seniors Card Discounted Rates and Seniors 7-night Special - 

  • The main guest must hold a NSW, Vic, or QLD state "Seniors Card", and show it on check-in.

    • Failure to provide a valid seniors card at check in may result in the standard room rate being charged.

  • A deposit of (at least) one night is required to secure your reservation, 

  • All guests must be over 40 years old. If guests are under this age, the standard ro rate may be charged.

  • Discounted deals are not available on dates of local special events, (ironman triathlon, state cup events) NSW school holidays.

Discounted Pre-paid Deals -

  • 100% of total price to be paid within 24 hours of reservation. Failure to pay deposit by the due date will result in the cancellation of the booking.

  • Pre-paid discounted deals through our website or direct bookings over the phone with our reception staff will require a prepayment of the total booking cost at the time of reservation. Failure to pay the total booking cost will result in the cancellation of your reservation.

  • Pre-paid discounted deals are non-refundable.

  • Pre-paid discounted deals can be rescheduled to another date, however a $40 reschedule fee applies at the time of reschedule. 

Cancellations and Amendments

  • 28 days' notice of cancellation or part cancellation is required for a deposit to be refundable. If cancelled outside 28 days' of the (original booking) arrival date, a $50 cancellation fee (and any commissions already paid) are payable. This policy applies to the original arrival date, not a rescheduled date in the case of a rescheduled reservation.

  • If the reservation is cancelled within 28 days' of the (original booking) arrival date, the first night of the booking cost is payable. Reservations cannot be rescheduled within 28 days of the (original booking) arrival date.

  • If the reservation is cancelled within 7 days' notice of the (original booking) arrival date, the whole amount of the booking is still payable. Reservations cannot be rescheduled within 7 days of the (original booking) arrival date.

  • Failure to arrive on the check-in date will indicate as a "no-show" (unless you have advised of later day arrival). The booking will then be cancelled and open to the public for resale.

  • No-show or cancellation on day of arrival will require the full amount of booking to be paid.

  • Deposits may be transferred to another booking provided cancellation is at least 28 days before (original booking) arrival with a rescheduling fee of $40 payable at the time of reschedule.

  • Any amendment that lessens the stay or rate will be charged at the original cost.

  • "Original booking" refers to a reservations initial booked dates where a reservation has been rescheduled to a later date.

Extra Charges

  • Cots & high chairs must be pre-booked. Charges apply. Subject to availability

  • Cleaning:  Apartments are not serviced during your stay unless requested (subject to staff availability):

    • Full linen change (towels and sheets) – $30

    • Full room service (linen change, vacuum and surface clean) – $50

    • Extra bath towel – $5

    • Beach towel hire – $5

    • Wet beds/mattresses requiring treatment – $100

  • Guests are responsible for any fees or charges incurred in relation to breakages, loss or damage to the unit & common property resulting from their stay, including any additional cleaning, repairs or replacement items; see the schedule of optional extras in the apartment compendium.

  • For health and safety of our staff, we request that all rubbish and recycling is removed from apartments and placed in the waste receptacles in the garage. If required for excessive garbage removal, a $15 service fee may be charged to your room, if required.

  • Excess cleaning charge where food and/or rubbish left on furniture or the floor will incur a charge of  $20 to your room.

House Rules

  • Beachside Holiday Apartments are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is not permitted inside apartments, or anywhere on the property (including garage and balconies). If smoking in apartments, or anywhere on premises, you will be removed from the premises.
    Please note that the no smoking policy applies to vaping and smoking of any device.

  • Property by-laws prevent any guests from having pets on the property at any time.

  • No parties are permitted on the premises - this includes hens/bucks parties.

  • Rooms are for accommodation only. Prior management approval is required for any group function.

 

Management reserves the right to evict guests with disruptive behaviour or for breaching our house rules. Eviction will likely incur extra charges per breach of house rules and no refunds will be provided for loss of accommodation. Likely costs incured range from $250 - $500 per offence.

Schoolies

Schoolies

Schoolies groups (under 19 yrs) have enjoyed staying at Beachside Holiday Apartments in the past and we will continue to welcome them so as long as we do not experience any problems, however we impose certain conditions on these bookings which are not negotiable. We do this for the benefit and safety of all guests staying at Beachside. To date we have not kept any of the security monies held, as all our schoolies groups have behaved responsibly and still had a great time.

 

We charge a $2,000.00 security bond for each apartment. This must be paid a minimum of 6 days prior to your arrival date, made via bank transfer. This payment will be refunded on the day of departure (approx. 2-4 hours later, via bank transfer), after the room has been checked for damage, and cleaned.

Types of costs likely to be deducted from bond:

  • Smoking or vaping on the property. This includes balconies and garage.

  • Breakages or damage to the apartment or complex common property.

  • Rubbish not removed from the apartment or left outside the apartment.

  • Washing up / dirty dishes etc left in the apartment

  • Excess dirt/mess around the apartment requiring extraordinary cleaning.

  • Food left in the fridge, or left in around the apartment or surrounds.

  • Audible apartment noise to cease at 10.00pm, so as not to disturb other guests quiet enjoyment (any refunds of other guests due to noise disturbance, will be met from the bond).

  • The security bond along with all other monies paid will be forfeited if any person in the group allows another person that is not a registered guest in the apartment or on the premises, causes a disturbance, causes any damage to the apartment, apartment contents or the building.

  • All persons in the group will be asked to leave immediately if any of these conditions are not met, with a full loss of accommodation monies paid.

  • All members of the group must provide photo ID on arrival.

  • All members of the group, must sign the consent form acknowledging, and agreeing, to the conditions with the loss of the bond (or a portion of the bond), loss of accommodation monies paid and eviction possibilities.
