** Updated Covid-19 Cancellation Policy **

Cancellation made as a result of Port Macquarie or guests' local government lockdown for the dates reserved:

Free Cancellation (full refund of monies paid) or Free Reschedule - only for any reservation made directly with Beachside Holiday Apartments.

May not be applicable for reservations made with a third-party, ie Booking.com, Expedia etc.

In case of "No Show", full amount of booking is payable.

** COVID 19 Requirements Per NSW Government **

- All guests must check in and out when coming and going from premises using QR codes provided

- From October 11th, ALL guests over 16yo will need to be double vaccinated

- Greater Sydney may only travel to regional NSW after November 1st

- Proof of vaccination will need to be provided or loss of accommodation may result

Reservations of Apartments

  • All apartment linen included in Tariff (bring your own Beach Towels, or hire $5 per stay per towel)

  • Tariffs subject to change without notice.

  • Whilst we will endeavor to provide you with your requested / booked apartment, there are no guarantees.

  • Check in time 2PM - 5PM. Check out time is before 10:00AM.

  • Minimum Check-in age is 19yrs, photo ID required. Otherwise, follow Schoolies conditions.

  • Deposits required at time of booking:

    • 2 Days = 50%

    • 3+ Days = 30%

    • Special events = 50%

    • Special Deals/Offers = 100% (not cancellable, $40 reschedule fee within Deal limit)

  • Balance of monies for stay is payable on day of arrival and not subject to refund for shortened stay.

  • Cancellation:  28 days notice of cancellation or part cancellation is required for a deposit to be refundable

  • No Show or Cancellation on day of arrival, full amount of booking is payable.

  • All refundable deposits are subject to a $50 cancellation fee plus any commissions already paid.

  • Deposits may be transferred to another booking provided cancellation is at least 28 days before arrival with a rescheduling fee of $40 payable.

  • Cots & high chairs must be pre-booked. Charges apply.

  • Cleaning:  Apartments are not serviced during your stay unless requested:

    • Full Linen Change (Towels and Sheets only) – $30

    • Full Room Service (Linen Change + Vacuum/Clean) – $50

    • Extra Bath Towel – $5

    • Wet Beds/Mattresses requiring treatment – $15

  • Guests are responsible for any fees or charges incurred in relation to breakages, loss or damage to the unit & common property resulting from their stay, including any additional cleaning, repairs or replacement items; see the schedule of optional extras in the apartment compendium, also posted on the wall near the Kitchen light switch.

  • Beachside Holiday Apartments are strictly non-smoking. Smoking not permitted inside Apartments, on anywhere on the property (including garage). If smoking in apartments, or on premises, you will be removed from the premises, and a fee/charge applies – $250.

  • All Rubbish and Recycling to be removed from Apartments and place in bulk bins in the Garage – $15 service fee if required.

  • Excess Cleaning Charge where food and/or rubbish left on Furniture or the floor – $20

  • Strictly no pets allowed.

  • Rooms are for accommodation only. Prior management approval is required for any function or party.

  • Local Special events (ie: Ironman, 1/2 Ironman, State Touch Cup etc) –

    • 10% Discount if paid in full (paid direct to Beachside) at time of booking, when over 6 months from event date.

    • $50 Booking Fee at time of booking, if 50% deposit is not paid at time of Booking. This is non-refundable.

    • The 50% Deposit is payable 6 months prior to event, if paid at time of Booking, the Booking fee is waived. 

    • The remaining 50% balance will be charged to nominated Credit Card on the day of Arrival. (This is to streamline the checkin process).

  • NSW Seniors Card 
    – Discounted rates – You must hold a NSW Seniors Card, and show it on check-in.

    • be a permanent resident of NSW, 

    • be aged 60 or over, and 

    • work no more than 20 hours paid hours each week.

    • Failure to provide seniors card at check in may result in the full rate being charged.

  • Discounted Pre-paid Deals 

    • 100% of total price to be paid within 24 hours. Failure to pay deposit will result in the base rate being charged.

    • No cancellations. $40 re-schedule fee. Restrictions apply.

Schoolies groups (under 19 yrs) have enjoyed staying at Beachside Holiday Apartments in the past and we will continue to welcome them so as long as we do not experience any problems, however we impose certain conditions on these bookings which are not negotiable. We do this for the benefit and safety of all guests staying at Beachside. To date we have not kept any of the security monies held, as all our schoolies groups have behaved responsibly and still had a great time.


We charge a $2000.00 CASH security bond for each apartment. This must be paid before (direct deposit) or on arrival, this cash payment will be refunded on the day of departure (approx. 2-4 hours later), after the room has been checked for damage,  and cleaned.

Types of costs likely to be deducted from bond:

  • Breakages or Damage to the Apartment or Complex Common Property.

  • Rubbish not removed from the Apartment or Left outside the Apartment.

  • Washing up / Dirty Dishes etc left in the Apartment

  • Excess dirt/mess around the apartment requiring extraordinary cleaning.

  • Food left in the fridge, or left in around the apartment or surrounds.

  • Audible apartment noise to cease at 11pm, so as not to disturb other guests quiet enjoyment (any refunds of other guests due to noise disturbance, will be met from the bond).

  • The security bond along with all other monies paid will be forfeited if any person in the group allows another person that is not a registered guest in the apartment or on the premises, causes a disturbance, causes any damage to the apartment, apartment contents or the building.

  • All persons in the group will be asked to leave immediately if any of these conditions are not met, with a full loss of accommodation monies paid.

  • All members of the group must provide photo ID on arrival.

  • All members of the group, must sign the consent form acknowledging, and agreeing, to the conditions with the loss of the bond (or a portion of the bond), loss of accommodation monies paid and eviction possibilities.
